Earlier this week I visited my friend,
David Brunetta, at his studio in Laguna Canyon to do some work with him. I'd been bragging to David about how good the sauerkraut was and brought a little bit down for him to try.
Tonight I got an email from David that contained nothing but this picture:
I think I could ask for no greater accolade. Thanks, David!
Yep David does have a sense of humor. I never got into Sauerkraut but is is good to know how to make it just in case.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you, Garith.
ReplyDeleteYes, sauerkraut is an acquired taste. I find that as I get older bold and unusual tastes attract me more than when I was young.
That big jar of sauerkraut is almost gone. I'd make more but my 'kraut bucket is now full of pickles. I need to find another bucket or other suitable container.
If you haven't already seen it, I've made another blog dedicated to cooking so I can get this one back to its archery roots: http://greenmancooking.blogspot.com/
There is also a new blog for gourds but I don't have any content in there just yet: http://greenmangourds.blogspot.com/
